Who We Are

We are a Saudi pharmaceutical company that manufacture a wide range of generic medicines. Alrai Pharmaceutical Industry Co. (L.L.C) was established in 2018 and introduced the it’s first product to Saudi market in 2019. Since then, Alrai Pharmaceutical Industry Co. (L.L.C) has been expanding geographically and diversifying its unique product portfolio.

We manufactures oral tablets, capsules and powder. Our main manufacturing facility located in Jeddah is equipped with the state of the art machinery and equipment to manufacture and ensure the highest quality standards. Every product we produce undergoes rigorous testing and trials in order to meet and exceed the strict regulatory benchmarks and quality control systems we live by.

Our purpose is to meet patients’ needs by providing high-quality medications and contributing to a healthier society making better health within reach every day.

Our Journey

2015

Construction of the Alrai Pharmaceutical Industry Co. plant began in Jeddah, marking a significant milestone in our growth journey and reinforcing our commitment to advancing pharmaceutical manufacturing in the region.

2018

We successfully passed inspections conducted by the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), demonstrating that our manufacturing plants in Saudi Arabia fully comply with all regulatory standards.

2019

We successfully initiated the manufacturing of our first commercial batch, marking the beginning of our product’s journey to the market and a major step in operationalizing our facility.

2021

We built our presence and expand in the GCC and successfully passed Gulf Health Council (GHC) inspections for our manufacturing plant in Saudi Arabia that built our strength across the GCC and began to establish us as a leading provider of generics in the region.

2022

With the successful expansion in the United Arab Emirates we passed the inspection of the Ministry of Health for our manufacturing plant in Saudi Arabia and we obtained the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

2023

Following our successful expansion into the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain, and building on our continued growth, we successfully passed inspections by both the Ministry of Health and NHRA for our manufacturing plant in Saudi Arabia. As a result, we were awarded the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification in 2023, further solidifying our presence across the GCC region.

2024

With our continued successful expansion across the MENA region, we passed the inspection by the Ministry of Public Health in the Republic of Yemen for our manufacturing plant in Saudi Arabia and were awarded the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification in 2024, further reinforcing our presence in both the Kingdom and the wider MENA region.

2025

In 2025, we continued our expansion in the region and were proudly awarded the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification by both the Ministry of Health in Kuwait and the Iraq Food & Drug Authority (IFDA).
